Keeper of Precepts - Faewynn of Gladden

At one time, there was no greater place of splendor than Ost Elendil, the first throne from which the great kings of the Second Age ruled the Kingdom of Arnor. Unfortunately, with the kingdom's decay, the forces of Angmar encroached upon the ancient city of AnnĂșminas in the Third Age and claimed it for their own. Once word of this had reached Faewynn, she took up arms and marched upon ruined city alone, fiercely determined to protect another piece of Middle-Earth's history. Wielding both sword and flame and with assistance from the remaining DĂșnedain, she had driven away the Black numenoreans and reclaimed the throne room in single night. However, Angmar's prescence was not to be taken lightly, for Faewynn knew that she would one day return and drive this evil away again...

In my youth, I remember learning from history classes that the color purple symbolized wealth, royalty, and wisdom. I had built this outfit based those three criteria. The problem was finding a place that would fit those requirements, so this outfit ended up on the backburner for a long time. I had gotten bored one night about a month ago and decided to run some old school instances, the Annuminas trio in particular. Ost Elendil had been the last place on the list. It turns out that the throne room was the best place to take these pictures. The rich colors bewteen the walls, floor, and outfit seemed to compliment each other so well!

TIP: Taking screenshots here had been rather difficult, due to the unusually dark rooms and the fact that light only came through the widnows on one side of the room. I had to use the personal lantern (activated by pressing ALT+F10) and some light providing skills to bring some illumination to the scene!

  1. Oh wow, this is gorgeous! That first screenshot is fantastic, she almost looks like she's sending up those stars. I really like the combination of head, shoulders, and cloak. :)

  2. Nice outfit. The cloak looks really nice in purple. The robe is actually the RK Barad Guldur chest piece. ;)
