A Return from a Lengthy Holiday

My, it's been a long time since I updated here. I had taken a break from LOTRO and all things LOTRO related, but I wasn't expecting it to be so long! It's been four months since my last blog post. It's been two months since I stopped playing. In a nutshell, I just got tired and aggravated with the game, not liking the direction the developers were taking this MMO. Also, with the way my non-gaming life had overwhelmed me, I had to temporarily stop the cosmetic blogging. Anyway, I'm back but not to the extent I used to be before December. Hopefully, I'll have some new outfits ready to go in the next week or two! To those of you who periodically check this blog, if there's anybody left at all (I hope!), thanks for being patient!

As an unusual bonus, here are several screenshots unused in any of my outfitting posts. Whenever I make an outfit, I take at least two dozen photos at a given time at a location...but only four of them make it to the final stages of a blog post. You might recognize some of the outfits below...but I can guarantee you that some of these haven't made it to this blog yet! Oh, the things you find archived from a different time and a different computer...

Normally, I'm not one to pick and choose what outfits that I display here. I stick to one, devote a few days to it, and turn it into a finished project...but sometimes it doesn't turn out that way. I've completely discarded a few ideas. I've half-finished outfits because I can't find pieces that jive with each other. I've even had moments in which I've reshelved unpublished outfits that I once thought beautiful, but looked hideous after letting them sit there for a week or two. I guess it's a good thing I've taken screenshots of most of them!

Please click these to see a larger image and enjoy!

Who knows, maybe some of these will get tweaked a bit and make it someday!

  1. Great to see you back Nathrien, even if it is at a slower pace -- which I can completely understand! :)

I love the first picture, with the archer. Looks like a great outfit, and what a gorgeous screenshot, with the sunset and the hills mirrored in the lake behind her.

    1. Thanks! That's still one of my favorite outfits for my champion to wear. That screenshot you're referring to is from my "Traveler of the East Wall" post. For the tone of the post, I decided against using the sunset screenshot and opted for the more difficult nighttime screenies.

  2. Glad you're back Nathrien! I'll admit that I've only bee following for a few days, days but I've liked what I've seen so far and I think I will keep checking. Keep the good outfits coming!
