A Warm Yuletide - Satella of Gladden

By far, my most shameless winter and holiday outfit to date. Why I say that? This outfit was heavily influenced by the mountie dress uniform a friend wore for Halloween. So, not only do you have an ensemble using Christmas colors, you have, arguably, LOTRO's first reinterpreted and embellished mountie. At least the traditional brown felt campaign hat isn't in the game, because that would be too much! This year, I've given you the perfect blend of security, hilarity, and holiday cheer...and a "virtual" tribute to one of the world's well known police forces!

The Yule Festival is in full swing and it does bring a bit of joy to my heart. Although not as busy as previous years, it's wonderful to see people dressing for the occasion, especially within the G.L.O.B.E. Theater's walls. I haven't had much time to immerse myself in the festivities so far this year between family, friends, and long, stressful retail shifts (I only dread them during the holiday season), but the community is out there in full force! Enjoy the carols at the Prancing Pony or gather your friends for a no-holds-barred snowball fight at Frostbluff. Give gifts, even if they're small ones, to your friends, kinmates, and strangers. There's something about this time of year that brings out the best in almost everybody.

I wish I could stick around and write something a little more substantial for today, but I am unfortunately strapped for time. However, I would like to leave you all with this simple message...regardless of what or if you celebrate:

~Happy Holidays from Material Middle-earth~

    1. Thank you, Starry :) I'm glad you noticed that! It was an unintentional side effect of the toast emote and I kept it for that very reason.

  4. Love it! :D that particular pair of Isengard boots is perhaps on of my favorite cosmetic items. Matches perfectly with the Dol Amroth armor! Have a Merry Christmas, Nathrien, and a happy New Year!.
