Lore-master's Staff Skin Collection Pt. 2

It brings me great joy to say that the LOTRO community has been absolutely wonderful this past week. It hadn't been my intent to post the second half of my staff collection, but with all the information regarding skins and weapon names coming at me over Twitter, Facebook, my blog's e-mail, and game chat, I figured uploading this sooner than later would be a good thing to do.

Without further ado, I present to you another assortment of staff skins!

--------------------------------------------------------

Before wrapping this up, I'd like to mention a wonderful plugin called Item Treasury found at LOTRO Interface. With this plugin, I'm able to manually scan the LOTRO's database for gear skins without ever having to leave my current location. It has filters, such as swords or staves or leggings, that make your search easier. If you spend enough time data mining, like I do, you'll find a few surprises. For example, these three staves pictured below can't be acquired in any way, despite being coded into the game. Many of these unused weapons are remnants of leftover Shadows of Angmar coding or from expansion betas. I can only hope more of these make their way into the game, like the Replica weapons did with Mordor.

This staff is know as the Greenfire Sun. It's tooltip comes with only a DPS rating and a brief description stating it's the legendary staff of the Horse-lords of Rohan.

This staff is known as Naurathrad. It's a level 37 epic-quality staff. It's tooltip suggests that it is a weapon of legendary make with Beleriand origins.

    1. I have never seen level 58 First Age weapons drop in the ten years I've been playing. I know you can barter for them starting at 59 from certain vendors, but not earlier than that. If they did drop, it might have been before the Moria revamp when all of the loot tables and zone levels were altered.

    2. The 58 FA Staff is now purchasable from the LOTRO Store. Staff of Storied Past.

  2. The "Doorward's Staff" have a identical drop in the shire. Its named "Metal-Capped Stave Of The Hunter". It is dropped by the goblins. I can send a screen shot if you want to of me getting it.

    1. There are quite a few in the skirmish camp with the same skin as well. However, I'll update it when I have the chance!
