Springtime Balladeer - Nathrien of Gladden

It's been a while since I've posted here. Life has gotten hectic the past month...between looking for a new job and spending time with family, I haven't had much time to spend on LOTRO with cosmetics. Luckily, the start of the Spring Festival coincided with the revival of my cosmetic ventures. It's not very often you see floral designs in a game like this. Usually, I see players running around Middle-Earth in armor, leathers, and various arrangements of end game gear. When I saw the new festival cosmetics, I could only imagine how perfect my mini, Nathrien, would look displaying them.

Springtime is the time for new beginnings. The grass returns to its lush emerald hue. Birds tweet and chirp while serenading travelers with their lullabies. Flower buds slowly blossom in a symphony of violets, yellows, pinks, and sky blues as the weather warms. Celondim, in its pastoral elegance, reminds me of all of those things. What could be a better place to take pictures than there?

When LOTRO has its festivals, I've found it very easy just to exclusively use the festival cosmetics to make an outfit. It's a difficult urge to resist, as those outifts can far too often be picture perfect. Instead, I decided to mix and match various pieces to create something regal that kept ties to the festival theme. The shades of pink in the dress itself were somewhat difficult to match, and through some trial and error, I was able to find a cloak to match it...and as an unexpected bonus, the cloak had a floral pattern itself!

Head: Simbelmyne Circlet (Washed, Spring Festival)
Cloak: Cloak of the Rescuer (Rose, Great River quest reward)
Shoulders: Shoulders of the Ancient Tongue (Sea Blue, RK Mirkwood barter item)
Chest: Simbelmyne Dress (Sea Blue, Spring Festival)
