Yes! *does a happy dance* The NDA has been lifted from the Riders of Rohan Beta! Which means...
It's time to unveil a sampling of the cosmetics (some shields included) from the RoR Expansion to whet your appetites! I spent a few dedicated days collecting the recipes for these sets. They do look lovely for the most part, though it seems some of the pieces have a black base for their color, which will make for some creative mixing and matching. Some pieces are also undyable, most likely due to missing codes. If it changes, that'll be when the expansion goes live. I hope you enjoy what's featured here! There will be no more chitchat from me...just an onslaught of pictures :D
Bear in mind that the names of the armor may not be set in stone just yet! I'll make notes if they do change...and I'll add more screenies if I have the chance to spend more time in the Beta :)

Nice preview! There is also an incomplete level 80 medium set (in the current build there is no recipe for boots), and both light sets currently use the same appearance, which I think is a placeholder for 80. We'll have to wait and see what the final sets look like. :D
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's why I wasn't able to provide screenies of both the level 80 light and medium armor sets. Hopefully they'll get fixed soon that way I can add them here :) I'm excited to see some new armor designs! I wish I could have said the same for the weapons, though. It looks like the skins from Theodred's Riders and teal scroll case gear were recycled.

ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with the range of gear installed thus far in Beta. I do have more screenies of the Rohan rep vendor armor sets, which I'll be putting up in the next week or so.
DeleteI also hope to add more of the shield skins with that post as well. And we finally have new weapon skins, which could be of use to those who make weapons part of their outfits. I don't have pics of those, as most don't fit in my dressing room window! I can only hope the levle 76+ LIs have new skins too :)
