Paid for her services, Cirilyn makes her living defending and traveling to places across Middle-Earth. From Enedwaith to Ered Luin, she has faced danger in many forms. She may find herself assaulting orc encampments one day and guarding a farm from the possibility of brigands the next. Regardless of the scope of her tasks, Cirilyn never asks for much in return. Perhaps a hot meal and a warm bed for a night or just enough coin to help her reach her next destination, wherever that may be.
Though she hardly makes a living from her earnings, it's the smiles from Elves, Men, Hobbits, and Dwarves that makes her thrive. With trust in her spear and her strength of heart, Cirilyn gathers her resolve and continues to push forward each day.
This is an outfit that I've found myself quite attached to the past year or so. I had wanted to make something simple in design that would flow rather well as an outfit. Though this may be an unusual combination of pieces, it more than surpassed my expectations. It works quite well for a class that travels as much as Hunters and Wardens do, not to mention classes that require quick reflexes as a primary defense. There's very little encumbrance here, nothing terribly heavy that would impede movement. It's not often I think about this when I design an outfit...usually I'm more concerned with how pretty it looks than anything else. Perhaps I will start designing outfits with functionality in mind.
TIP: Outift doesn't feel quite right even though it looks gorgeous? Try imagining what it would feel like on your own body. Would it feel restrictive? Does a piece feel like it's more of a fabric than it is leather or metallic? Determining the functionality of your outfit could help make your expectations fall into place.
