Autumn Series - Harvest Spirit

I love a good ear of corn, whether it's shucked and boiled in a large pot or the husk is peeled back and then grilled in a cilantro-garlic butter. For those of you who don't know me, I live in the United States, and in my particular region, September through November is corn harvesting season. Usually, I get free sheaf or two from my aunt's farm...which means I should pay her a visit soon! Everything I've just told you was my source inspiration for this outfit. I wanted to convey the spirit of the harvest, at least my vision of it, to my wonderful readers. It took some searching to find a zone outside of the Shire that reminded me of family, hearth, and home. Luckily, I had found a fantastic little farm near the Everclear Lakes in Bree-land for a photo shoot : )

It was my hope to create an outfit that reminds players of the transition from Summer to Autumn, a time of year when crops are still being planted and harvested, using lighter and brighter browns and greens and cross-festival outfitting. The Fancy Farmer's Dress had a gorgeous wheat-stalk embroidery, which becomes highly pronounced when using very bright or very dark colors. This has been a wonderful year for new cosmetic pieces. Dresses, tunics, circlets, and even props like gourds, pretzels and apple baskets. I've got more to come in my Autumn Series using quite a few of those festival items!

Also, now that Rohan is live, stay tuned for some new outfits using the latest cosmetics! See you in game : )
