Sword and Sorcery

I hope everybody's been enjoying LOTRO's Fall Festival this year. I've been a bit of a busybody myself between daily attempts at getting the Painted Skeleton Steed from the Haunted Burrow's not-so-secret chest, touching up future outfits, and preparing for tomorrow's server fashion show on Gladden, Frights of Fancy. In a way, I was glad the past week has been like this. It's given me time to focus on everything LOTRO and clearing my "Countdown to Minas Morgul" checklist. I can't wait to see what gear skins we're getting! I've imagined there will be plenty of spooky-looking ones! And speaking of something spooky...

I'm still on my Halloween kick, focusing on outfits appropriate for the season. I've finally used last year's robe from the Fall Festival, the Travelling Robes of the Autumn Wanderer. It's been sitting in my wardrobe the entire year and I've periodically tried using it. I couldn't say how often I deleted it and started anew. Depending on what race/gender combination is used, the robe becomes overly bulky--particularly on the male Elf. I did encounter clipping issues, especially around the base of the neck, leaving me few options. However, I found a pleasing pairing with some of Mordor's gear skins and conjured a darker image. It's made me want to explore Mordor cosmetics a bit further, since I've rarely used them.

Chest: Travelling Robes of the Autumn Wanderer (Burgundy, Fall Festival barter reward)
Hands: Runed Gloves of the Expedition's Vanguard (White, bartered from the High-enchanter in Mordor)

**The Embossed Mantle of the Abyss from the Keeper of Mysteries also shares the same skin.
